Money Transmitter Regulatory Assn conference

Jay Postma, CAMS, President of MSB Compliance Inc. was pleased to attend the annual Money Transmitter Regulatory Association conference held in New Orleans, LA from September 24 - 26, 2013.  The conference provides a great opportunity to learn from, speak with and network with state regulators as well as various licensees in attendance.  This year's conference was excellent (no surprise there) but sold out with some persons hoping to register late unable to attend (surprise).  It was great to see many new faces at the conference including multiple representatives of companies building bitcoin businesses and various payment processors subject to state licensure.

Social highlights included a great New Orleans dinner hosted by Judie Rinearson of Bryan Cave and two nights closing down Pat O'Brian's Piano Bar then dancing at clubs on Bourbon Street.
